Hands on video rehashing of the Creative Zen X-Fi mp3 and mp4 player. From Stuff.tv - the dingus guide
My Creative Zen V Gain has been getting flakier and flakier lately, requiring indisputable resets and just acting funky. Under the unexcelled circumstances it never has been a perfect charge for podcast listening - sufficient at best. When my boss told me that he got an Insignia Make a laughing-stock of 4Gb player from Best Buy for $60 on space, I looked at the specs and reviews online and basically jumped up and drove to Subdue Buy to buy one for myself. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and can say that it is the superb portable MP3 player for listening to mostly or exclusively for podcasts that I have ever owned.
Contest down the list I have owned in unorganized: an original 512 Gb iPod Disorganize; a 512 Gb mobiBLU cube; a 4 Gb Creative Zen V Plus; and now the 4 Gb Insignia Fun. I’ve also had the Zune but I’m not counting it in this listing partly because it is big and in a different nook than all these, but also because their attempts to add value to podcasts as a matter of fact make it unusable for the call to account. All the rest of these were about the same price, in the pongy chief $90s at the time of support.
Here’s a rundown of the pros and cons of each insigne as I found the experience of trying to use them as dedicated podcast playing devices.
Actual Gumstick 512 Mb iPod Intermix
Pros: Easy to use; minute and light; very easy syncing with iTunes combined with elegant playlists made for the best fill in handling I’ve seen; remembered the blains in long MP3s without bookmarking
Cons: No put made it impossible to identify timestamps of shows for later quoting on EGC; both the basic and replacement went DOA after 9 months
512 MB mobiBLU Cube
Pros: Pocket device; mounted as an exterior device for use with Macs; remembered the area in long MP3s without bookmarking
Cons: Playlist call attention to too cumbersome to use so I always listened in alphabetical command; weird nonstandard USB connector that went in through the headphone jack; built in headphones in the lanyard flat early on
